Third Competition.......Second Place!!!!

Well, I am glad the trend did not go on!!! We were a little worried. The judges comments on the tapes were not exactly good, and we felt like they did not like us that well. The exciting part about it all was that we were only 4 points behind AF this time instead of 9! So we are closing the gap!! I am very proud of the girls and their hard work this week. It is now time for a vacation! We are heading to Disneyland on Tuesday for some fun in the sun and a march in a parade with our marching band. California here we come!

Second Competition......Second Place!!!

I hope we are not setting a trend on the number of competitions means what place you get!!!
We performed great, even a little better than last competition, but a new group, American Fork Jr., decided to perform in our division. Last year, they were in the upper division and won 1st & second in that, so we were all a little confused of why they were put in our division. Well, they results came in and they won first, suprise, suprise! So the second place went to us, which in my eyes is first, cause AF shouldn't even be in our division. I hope they get moved up to the division they belong in, but unfortunately, it is not my decision. Look at this picture, we are AWESOME!!

The girl's were a little disappointed, and I feel bad about that because they did awesome. We got 2nd place out of NINE schools!!! That itself is amazing!!

First Competition......First Place!!!!!

We headed off for Orem High last Saturday. We have been working really hard for this day to come. We were doing a lot of last minute things like alterations on costumes & painting the dang floor!!! It all came together though and I want to thank everyone who helped us get here!

And taking home a First Place in our division of 7!!! I am so proud of these girls and all the hard work and dedication!! They so deserved this and definately showed it during their performance!

The Final Floor

Our floor is FINALLY finished. it took a lot longer than we thought and a lot more headache too! Thanks to Toni and Jamie for helping Kristy with this section of the floor.

And thanks to Vicki, Brittany, & Kristy for finishing the floor and backdrops. It actually looks like we are in Shrek or a Castle of somekind at first, but it is growing on me & I like it!
