Christmas Party!

Our christmas party was friday night. It was a lot of fun and all 15 girls were there!

We started out the night by playing a ps2 game called sing star, until everyone arrived. We has a blast singing all the songs and trying to beat each other in our teams.

Then it was present time. The girls exchanged names and passed them out to each other.

Some presents were REALLY exciting! i love ya Shay!

My camera got taken, but I did not mind, I got this great picture of Kelsee and Ky!

Then we had to end the night with LAP TAG! I think it went on for almost 2 hours. I think they like to wrestle Kristy and I down to the ground! I had a blast! I love every one of these girls dearly! thanks for keeping me young!

Our awesome girls, plus mine & Kristy's little girls. They think the world of these color guard girls!
Near perfect, except feet!

Final Fall Performance

Our last home football game! It is a little bitter sweet. I got teary eyed after the performance, cause I sort of hate to see it end. I have a lot of work cut out for me coming up, but it is nice to have a little bit of a break with the performing and traveling.

Here are my beautiful girls! What a great season! I can't wait for Winter Guard!

BYU Competition

The last time we get to travel with the trailer for the year. BYU was a fun competition. We did not stay very long though.
Kyler & Calista - Calista forgot her brown stomach "thingy" so we put her black camisole on. Can you tell the difference?

We performed well at this competition.

We ended up winning 3rd place in the color guard. You don't get a tropy for that, but we improved from last weeks competition.

HOMECOMING

Homecoming week, what a busy one. Monday, practice after school, then Tuesday, we headed in the buses and went to Davis High for a competition. Wednesday, practice again plus our 1st ever GUY GUARD performed at the powder puff game that night. Thursday, was field day. We were outside in the freezing cold all day trying to figure out the half time show with the cheerleaders and hi-steppers.

Here is a little still shot of a toss, not so together in this pic!
Friday, was the game day. We rode a firetruck in the homecoming bragade through the streets of town

They froze before they had to go on, so they HUDDLED together to keep warm, and this is a pic from up above the huddle!

Performing Superman during halftime, looks awesome girls!

Performing with the cheerleaders and hi-steppers, Born to be Wild

Cheer cheer at the end

All 17 of my beautiful girls. Thanks for a long hard week. You did great!

Davis Cup

This competition was an evening one, so that means cooler weather and hopefully better performing. We were a member short tonight, Charity broke her coller bone the day before at practice! So sad!

Here is the Seniors showing their excitement about the competition!

A toss that we FINALLY (almost) perfected!

Dancing & Rifles during ET

Beautifully together!
Even though we did not win anything this competition, we performed our best yet performance. Way to go everyone!

What a way to start off the season!!!!

Saturday, was our 1st "official" competition this year. We have worked really hard this summer and fall just for this day. We did a great job Tuesday night at Weber State, so we had to give it our all again today.
The day started out, just really hot. We performed at 12:45, in the heat of the day. I blame this for a little of why we did not perform our best. There were little mess ups here and there, and a big mess up in the middle of our performance, but guess what the outcome was?

The girls performing Star Wars/Raiders of the Lost Ark.....

Performing Superman......

Performing ET.....

And finishing with Jurassic Park......

WE TOOK HOME THE MOST OUTSTANDING COLOR GUARD IN OUR DIVISON!!!!WHOO-HOO!
I am so proud of these girls. This is our goal every year to win this award. We have not recieved it yet until now! Now our goal is to keep winning it!
Way to go! Here we come, no stopping us now!!

Good Night....but a Goodbye too

Last night was a little bitter sweet for me. It was our first performance with all the girls, but it was also the last for our sweet, little Kaia. She moved in with her mom, so that means she has to leave us. We were all very excited to see her and have her perform with us for the 1st and last time. We will miss you Kaia and hope you don't forget us.

Kaia and me after a wonderful performance. Everyone did awesome!! We were the best ones on the field!
